- Sprint: P3, 19 laps
- Qualifying: P9, 1:33.150, 20 laps
- Carlos Sainz puts together a spectacular podium in the Sprint race and then clinches another Q3 appearance as he secures himself the ninth spot in the Starting Grid of this Sunday’s United States GP.
- As the day progressed, the wind picked up and changed directions compared to Friday, which compromised the balance of the cars in certain parts of the track. The forecast for tomorrow suggests it can still change.
- The Williams race driver set the ninth fastest time in Q1 (1:33.739) and was seventh in Q2 (1:33.150), but in Q3 (1:33.150), he could not improve his lap time precisely due to the delicate conditions of the track.

“Today was another good day and I’m happy with my laps. We executed a clean session and pace felt strong. Unfortunately the wind picked up for the last part of qualifying and our car becomes a bit trickier to drive, so overall P9 was more or less our spot today".
