- Sprint: P5, 19 laps
- Qualifying: P3, 1:27.455, 21 laps
- Carlos Sainz was third in a Qualifying session where the lack of grip was a challenge both for drivers and teams alike.
- The Spaniard scored four points in the Sprint, where he finished in fifth place, and afterwards he was able to work on the set-up of his Ferrari SF-24 to finetune it for the Grand Prix.
- In the Qualifying, after moving through Q1 (1:28.435) and Q2 (1:28.262), the Ferrari race driver set his fastest lap-time of the weekend in Q3 with a 1:27.455 that puts him on the clean side of the grid for tomorrow.

“Overall we cannot be too disappointed of the result today. This track is always very tricky, slippery in some sectors and with the tyres on the verge of overheating.
