• Carlos will start from second place in the Miami GP after a Qualifying session in which Ferrari was able to lock the first row of the Starting Grid.
• The Spaniard recovered from Friday’s incident and made it through Q1 (1:30.079) and Q2 (1:29.729) with a single set of new Soft tyres for each round.
• In Q3 he controlled the first sector, where he set the fastest time, and set a 1:28.986 to finish 190 thousandths of a second away from pole position.

“I’m pretty happy with my Qualy. It was a strong comeback after yesterday and I managed to improve run after run to finally fight for pole until the very last corner. I had fun out there, pushing the car, and we are in a good position for tomorrow. This track has proven to be very tricky and starting from the front row will for sure help.
