Bahrain GP, Bahrain International Circuit (5,412 meters, 15 corners, in the calendar since 2004)
- Carlos Sainz heads to the second race of the first triple-header of the year, which is set to take place in the same racetrack that hosted pre-season testing back in February.
- Conditions will be very different this time, because it is hotter at this time of the year and both Qualifying and the race itself will take place without any sunlight.
- Carlos has been on the podium in two of his last three visits to the Bahrain International Circuit: he finished second in 2022 and third in 2024.
QUOTES:
"Wrapping up Japan, it’s great to see we are making good progress as a team and that the car was at a very good level on a demanding track such as Suzuka. On my side, despite the final result, there were many positives to take from last week and I can’t wait to get back in the car here in Bahrain. Coming back to the same track that we used for pre-season testing will be very interesting, although conditions will be significantly different as it’s going to be much hotter. I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and putting together a strong weekend. Let’s go for it!".
