Styrian GP, July 10-12th 2020
Red Bull Ring (4,318 meters, 10 corners, in the calendar since 1997)
- The name of the Styrian GP comes from the region of the Red Bull Ring, which last week already hosted the Austrian GP.
- It is the first time in the history of Formula One that one venue hosts two consecutive events.
- Carlos Sainz put a comeback drive from eighth to fifth. This weekend, he'll try to build on last week's good sensations.
"This weekend we are back to the Red Bull Ring, with another opportunity to apply on track all the things we learned last week. We know that reliability is crucial, since our engine overheated at the end of last Sunday's race. In the Austrian GP we fought for the podium, so we will try again and work as hard as we can. Still, in order to assess the true potential of the car we'll have to wait until the Hungarian GP, because we were already competitive in the Red Bull Ring last year and maybe it is not completely representative".
