- With a 1:40.274 as his fastest lap, Carlos was the quickest driver behind the leading teams.
- His one-lap performance proved to be very satisfactory on similar temperature and light conditions as the ones expected for Qualifying. He will now focus on his long-run pace together with his engineers.
- In the night session, Carlos completed 17 laps on hypersoft tyres, including a 3-lap Qualifying run and a longer 14-lap stint. On softs, he put together 19 laps across an 8-lap run and a 11-lap stint.
"Generally speaking, today was quite a smooth Friday for us, which is always good in Singapore. We had no issues and we went through our run plan. I am happy with the day, especially with the performance of the car on a single lap. There are areas we can work in to try and see what can be done better in the race. We can learn a few things about the tyre-wear, but today was a good day for us".
