He is training at Recas circuit with a 125cc KZ2 go-kart
Carlos Sainz could not wait and went back to the track. He is waiting for his debut with 2016 car at Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya in February, so he is making good use of the first days of this year to get back to the track, not in a Formula 1 car but in a six gears Sodikart 125cc KZ2 go-kart at Recas circuit (Toledo, Spain).
The Spanish driver is training as many times as he can in order to improve his reflexes and his anticipation, with even more accuracy and quicker response. It is also vital for a driver in karting to have good resistance and strength, qualities also needed in a Formula 1 car. In order to achieve that, Carlos is taking profit of these days before getting on his new car, even if he has to travel from London, where he lives, to find a better weather.
Wearing his Scuderia Toro Rosso overall and the characteristic helmet with the Spanish flag colours, Carlos has completed 30 laps long sessions today. He has sustained a constant pace and always seeking for the limits of the track and the go-kart: Video
