Las Vegas GP, Las Vegas Strip Circuit (6,201 meters, 17 corners, in the calendar since 2023)
- Carlos Sainz heads to the last part of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship in the Las Vegas GP, the first race of a triple-header that will continue in Qatar and finish in Abu Dhabi with the last race in the calendar.
- Las Vegas is a track where the Spanish race driver has gathered good results in the past: he has qualified twice in second place in the two events that have taken place there and last year he finished on the podium in third place.
- Carlos is hoping he will be more competitive in his Williams FW47, aided by the fact that in this racetrack there are multiple long straights and slow corners, rather than medium and high-speed turns.
QUOTES:
“I’m looking forward to this weekend in Vegas! We’ve learned a lot about the car and on paper, we should be quick around these streets, so I’m excited to see how we stack up. This weekend will be all about tyres, so we’ll do our best to get prepared for a strong and clean execution. Driving down the famous Las Vegas strip is unique, so I’m looking forward to racing under the lights and giving our fans something to cheer for. Vamos!".
