Carlos Sainz got the third place at the ski Kitz Charity Trophy

He teamed up with Max Verstappen and their boss Franz Tost

Red Bull drivers are spending a few days in Kitzbühel (Austria) to take part on the Ski World Cup, a team building event before starting 2016 season.

Alongside Carlos Sainz traveled Daniel Ricciardo, Daniil Kvyat and also his teammate Max Verstappen and Honda HRC MotoGP official drivers, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.

They all participated in the Kitz Charity Trophy 2016, a fund raising race for families in need. Just for one day, winning was not important, but they still had lots of fun competing against ski superstars.

Carlos teamed up with Max Verstappen and their boss Franz Tost, and the combination worked almost as well as on track as they got the third position.

The event has been a true success, as it was attended by many personalities like Bernie Ecclestone, Franz Tost, Gerhard Berger, Luc Alphand and ski legends such as Didier Cucher, Hans Knauss, Michaela Dorfmeister, Michael Walchhofer and even non-sporting personalities like singer Christina Stürmer and actors Luke Evans and Grego Bloeb or DJ Ötzi, among others.

The number of visitors was massive and they enjoyed a unique day of skiing, but most important, they raised more than 150.000 euros.
