• Carlos topped the standings in the second practice session of Singapore, the only one to take place in the same night conditions as Qualifying and the race.
• The Ferrari race driver set his fastest time (1:42.587) well into his stint on the Soft tyre as his search for the optimum set-up started to show its result in the night session.
• The Spaniard also covered 11 laps on the Hard tyre in Free Practice 1 and 17 on the Medium compound in Free Practice 2. The goal is to improve as much as possible the pace on the long runs.

"Challenging first day here in Singapore. We managed to complete the full run plan but we also faced some challenges, particularly with the setup and car balance. We didn’t find the right window for FP1, but we managed to improve the feeling with the car for FP2".
