"Obviously it hasn’t been an ideal Thursday in Monaco. Missing out Free Practice 1 is not the way you want to start the Monaco GP. The mechanics did a great job to change the ES package and get me back out again at the end of the session, although there was not time left to clock a proper lap. Free Practice 2 went a bit better, but I am still 30 or 40 laps behind my competitors and I still have to adjust the set-up of my car. Here it is important to get in the rhythm little by little, so we must play it intelligent and make up for the lost time with the leaders. Qualifying is what matters and there’s still margin to work and improve".
