Sakhir International Circuit (5,412 meters, 15 corners, in the calendar since 2004)
- Carlos Sainz kickstarts in the Bahrain GP the longest season in the history of Formula 1, with 24 rounds in total.
- The return of the Chinese GP after the COVID-19 pandemic, together with the return of the Emilia Romagna GP after its cancellation in 2023 due to the bad weather, are the changes in the calendar.
- Exceptionally, the Bahrain GP will take place on Saturday to make travelling to Saudi Arabia easier. The Saudi round will be held on the next Saturday to avoid a clash with the start of Ramadan on the following day.
- Carlos’ best result so far in the Sakhir International Circuit is a second place in 2022
- The feeling was positive in last week’s pre-season testing, but the real deal starts tomorrow Thursday with the first practice sessions.
