- Track-temperatures decreased and conditions were more representatives of the ones expected for Qualifying and Sunday's race.
- Carlos used the soft and supersoft compounds, setting his fastest lap (1:31.601) with the latter. He also performed a race simulation on the same option.
- He feels happy with the progress of his car and feels confident ahead of the weekend.
"A challenging Friday, like always in Bahrain, getting to understand the behaviour of the car in Free Practice 2 and the changes into Free Practice 2, getting a lot of grip. Here it is always tricky to handle the rear-end of the car. it is difficult to set-up the car for all the corners you have here, but in general I think we did some progress throughout the day and we covered up our plan, finishing without any issues, which is a good starting point for the weekend"
