“It is disappointing that we had this issue, because it was a perfect weekend. We were sixth after doing a perfect Qualifying, a perfect start… and then all of a sudden we had an issue with few laps to go. We lost 160 horsepower, but this is racing. It’s a real shame for the entire team, because we deserved this sixth place at our home race”.
“The start was a chaotic one. We didn’t really know what to expect because it was a new circuit and we didn’t have many references. I did a very solid start. Some cars ran wide and I passed them at the chicane”.
“Magnussen’s Haas was a bit quicker than us on ultrasoft tyres, but we managed to keep it under control when we switched to softs. The car performed really well in the second half of the race. That’s why it makes me angry, because we deserved this sixth place. We will be back stronger in a few days in Austria”.
